Admission

$12, adults; $8 seniors (65+); $6, students with ID and children ages 6-12.  Free for children under 6 and Brandywine Conservancy members.  Audio Tours, $3.  Click here for information and rates for group tours.   

Museum admission is free on Sunday mornings from 9:30 a.m. to noon, through November 24, 2013.

Accessibility

The entire museum is wheelchair accessible, including bathrooms and water fountains. 

Reserved accessible parking spaces are located on the riverside of the parking lot.

A ramped entrance is available on the riverside of the museum into the lower level.

The museum has several standard-sized, non-motorized wheelchairs available at no cost for visitor convenience. 

Advance notice is recommended for special tours or accommodations. Call 610-388-8366 for information and group reservations.

FROM PHILADELPHIA, PA
Take I-95 south to Route 322 west. Follow 322 west to its intersection with US Route 1. Follow US Route 1 south approximately 3 1/2 miles to Chadds Ford. The Brandywine River Museum is located on the left side of US Route 1, just past the intersection with Creek Road (formerly known as Route 100).

FROM WILMINGTON, DE
Follow Route 52 north to its intersection with US Route 1. Follow US Route 1 north approximately 3 1/2 miles to Chadds Ford. The Brandywine River Museum is located on the right side of the road, just before the intersection with Creek Road (formerly known as Route 100).

FROM BALTIMORE, MD
Follow I-95 north to Delaware Route 141. Follow Route 141 north to Route 52. Follow Route 52 north to its intersection with US Route 1. Follow US Route 1 north approximately 3 1/2 miles to Chadds Ford. The Brandywine River Museum is located on the right side of the road, just before the intersection with Creek Road (formerly known as Route 100).

FROM WESTERN PENNSYLVANIA
Take the Pennsylvania Turnpike East to Exit 326 (Valley Forge/Route 202). Take Route 202 south toward West Chester/Wilmington, DE. At the intersection of Route 202 and Route 1, turn right onto Route 1 south. Follow Route 1 for approximately 3 miles. The Brandywine River Museum is located on the left side of US Route 1, just past the intersection with Creek Road (formerly known as Route 100) in Chadds Ford.

FROM THE NEW YORK AREA
Take the New Jersey Turnpike south to Exit 2, Swedesboro, onto Route 322 west. Proceed west on Route 322 approximately 9 miles to the Commodore Barry Bridge (toll required), crossing into Pennsylvania. Follow signs for I-95 south. Take I-95 south to Exit 3A, Route 322 west, marked West Chester. Follow 322 west approximately 7 miles to the intersection with Route 1. Turn left onto Route 1 south. Follow Route 1 approximately 4 miles. The Brandywine River Museum is located on the left side of US Route 1, just past the intersection of Creek Road (formerly known as Route 100) in Chadds Ford.

FROM ALLENTOWN, SCRANTON, WILKES BARRE AREA
Follow the Northeast extension of the PA Turnpike south to Route 76. Proceed west on the PA Turnpike to Exit 326 (Valley Forge, Route 202). Take Route 202 south toward West Chester/Wilmington, DE. At the intersection of Route 202 and Route 1, turn right onto Route 1 south. Follow Route 1 approximately 3 miles. The Brandywine River Museum is located on the left side of US Route 1, just past the intersection of Creek Road (formerly known as Route 100) in Chadds Ford.
