TIP-A-CANOE AND BARBECUE TOO!

WHAT: Join the Young Friends of the Brandywine Conservancy for a fun-filled afternoon on the Brandywine River to benefit the Conservancy. The family-friendly event begins with a relaxing canoe ride down the river and ends with a barbecue and live music. Canoes are provided.

WHEN: Saturday, July 17 at 2 p.m.

WHERE: Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania

ADMISSION: Tickets are $60 per person, and advance registration is required.
Children 12 and under are free. Ticket price includes canoe, paddles, personal floatation devices and barbecue. Space is limited. To register, please call the Young Friends Office at 610-388-8315 or order online using the ticket form at www.youngfriends.org.

The Young Friends of the Brandywine Conservancy is a membership group and volunteer committee of young adults dedicated to furthering the goals of the Brandywine Conservancy and its two operating programs, the Environmental Management Center and Brandywine River Museum. In addition to sponsoring on-going education programs for children and families, the Young Friends host special events throughout the year designed to elevate adult and child awareness of art and the environment, recruit new members, and more actively involve current members.
