Brandywine River Museum to show new documentary film about George A. "Frolic" Weymouth

WHAT:
The Brandywine River Museum will show the recently-released documentary film The Way Back: A Portrait of George A. Weymouth in the Museum Lecture Room. Written, filmed and produced by Renée Drake, the 77-minute film explores the life of George A. "Frolic" Weymouth, an accomplished artist, visionary environmentalist, gifted gardener and award-winning equestrian.

From Weymouth's 1750s stone house located on a gentle bend in the Brandywine River to the Brandywine Conservancy which he co-founded in 1967 and its Brandywine River Museum, viewers will enjoy an insider's glimpse of a charismatic individual who inspires those around him by linking the past with the present through art and environmental preservation.
