The 70th Running of the PA Hunt Cup
(October 2004; #034)

WHAT: Enjoy a fabulous day of horse racing in rolling Chester County countryside at the 70th running of the Pennsylvania Hunt Cup. This year marks the 40th anniversary for the races on the Unionville course which is permanently protected by conservation easements.

A portion of the proceeds from the races will be donated to the Brandywine Conservancy, Brandywine Valley Association, Cheshire Land Preservation Fund, Natural Lands Trust, and Stroud Water Research Center.

Bring the family, bring your dogs (but keep them on leashes), and bring your appetite. See the races, the fall foliage, and how five fantastic conservation organizations are protecting our environment.

Enter a raffle ($20 per ticket) to win a trip to Turks & Caicos Island; a week in Vail, Colorado; a bronze sculpture by Carrie Quade; a framed print of an oil painting by sporting artist Beverly Wende; two pearwood candlestick holders by Kinloch Woodworking Ltd; and a hand-painted, antique rush seat chair by Beth Secor.
