Animals in the Gallery at the Brandywine River Museum. Throughout history, artists have found inspiration in the beauty, unique characteristics and habits of animals. This exhibition presents the drama, power, intelligence, and even humorous nature of beasts in works by dozens of imaginative artists, including Charles Livingston Bull, George Cope, Daniel Garber, Theodore Geisel, Winslow Homer, Dorothy Lathrop, Charles Santore, John Sloan, Jamie Wyeth and N.C. Wyeth.
