CHADDS FORD, PA— Dress in your best pirate garb and set sail for the Brandywine River Museum's "haunted" courtyard at the 14th annual Allhallows Eve Costume Ball on Saturday, October 22 from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. The Pirates of the Caribbean is the theme for this year's spirited event.

Hosted by the Young Friends of the Brandywine Conservancy, the costume ball will feature dancing to live music performed by Don't Call Me Francis. Partygoers will have the opportunity to compete for prizes for the most original costumes. In the spirit of Halloween, tarot and intuitive readings will entertain and spook guests. Museum galleries will be open from 9 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

Tickets may be purchased in advance for $70 per ticket for Conservancy members and $85 for non-members. Tickets at the door are $100 each. A complimentary buffet and open bar are included with all tickets.

Tickets can be purchased online at www.youngfriends.org or by calling the Young Friends' office at 610-388-8315 during business hours. Visa and MasterCard are accepted. Adults 21 years and over are welcome; proof of age is required. All proceeds benefit the Brandywine Conservancy.

The Young Friends of the Brandywine Conservancy is a membership group and
volunteer committee of young adults dedicated to furthering the goals of the Conservancy and its two operating programs, the Environmental Management Center and the Brandywine River Museum.
