Last Days of the Season for Public Tours of the
Kuerner Farm and N.C. Wyeth House and Studio

(October 2005, #043)

WHAT:
Don't miss the chance this season to visit the Kuerner Farm and N.C. Wyeth House and Studio. Tours depart from the Brandywine River Museum and are available through November 20.

At the N.C. Wyeth House and Studio, visitors have the opportunity to see the environment in which N.C. Wyeth created many of his memorable works of art and also the house where he raised his extraordinarily creative children. Both the house and studio have been restored to reflect their character in 1945, the year of the artist's death.

In a separate tour, visitors can see the historic Kuerner Farm. For more than 70 years, the Kuerner Farm has been a major source of inspiration to Andrew Wyeth. Since his earliest painting of the farm in 1932 at the age of 15, Wyeth has found subjects in its people, animals, buildings and landscapes for nearly 1,000 works of art.

WHEN:
Wednesday through Sunday, at timed intervals
through November 20, 2005
