Volunteer Gardeners Needed For Brandywine River Museum
(January 2006, #005)

WHAT: The Brandywine River Museum, long recognized for its extensive wildflower and native plant gardens in Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania, has openings for volunteer gardeners.

Gardeners work year round in the many aspects of tending the wildflower gardens. An interest in learning about the native plants of our region is required. Previous gardening experience is helpful. On the job training is provided.

The time commitment required of volunteer gardeners is Tuesday morning of each week.

If you enjoy being outdoors and would like to learn more about gardening with native plants, take advantage of this great opportunity.

WHEN: Sunday, January 29, 2006 from 1 to 2:30 p.m.

WHERE: The Brandywine River Museum is located on US Route 1 just south of PA Route 100 (South Creek Road) in Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania.
