| WHAT: |
The Brandywine River Museum presents a fascinating exhibition, Factory Work: Warhol, Wyeth and Basquiat. Jamie Wyeth (b. 1946) and Jean-Michel Basquiat (1960-1988) were young, independent artists with their own substantial reputations when Andy Warhol (1928-1987) invited each to paint in his New York "Factory." Warhol mentored the younger artists, and they enabled him to stay connected to new audiences of an evolving art world. This exhibition features paintings, photographs, interviews, clippings and audiotapes related the interaction between all three artists.
