WHAT: The popular book, an exhibition catalog titled Dog Days of Summer: Works by Jamie Wyeth, has been reprinted. Artist Jamie Wyeth will sign copies at the Brandywine River Museum.
The catalog was prepared for the summer 2007 exhibition Dog Days of Summer: Works by Jamie Wyeth. Dog Days of Summer featured paintings and drawings borrowed from both public and private collections reflecting more than three decades of Jamie Wyeth's art representing dogs. The exhibition catalog provides a comprehensive examination of Wyeth's fascination with canines of many sorts, in many activities and places. The book contains an insightful narrative by Jamie Wyeth about his relationship with various dogs.
Mr. Wyeth will sign a limit of three catalogs per person.
WHEN: Wednesday, January 2, from 10 to noon
WHERE: Brandywine River Museum

PRICE: The book signing is free with museum admission ($8 for adults; $5 for senior citizens, students, and children ages 6-12; free for children under 6 and Brandywine Conservancy members).
Copies of the catalog are available in the Brandywine River Museum Shop or online at www.brandywinemuseumshop.org for $24.95 (soft cover), plus tax.
