BRANDYWINE CONSERVANCY NAMES
HILLARY HOLLAND AS DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC RELATIONS

CHADDS FORD, PA — February 4, 2008 — The appointment of Hillary K. Holland as Director of Public Relations for the Brandywine Conservancy has been announced by Executive Director James H. Duff.
Holland will direct all public relations activities for the Conservancy which operates the Brandywine River Museum and the Environmental Management Center. She will coordinate marketing efforts and promote programs, public activities and exhibitions.
Holland most recently served as manager of media relations at Winterthur Museum & Country Estate where she promoted the museum, garden, library, exhibitions and major events such as the Point-to-Point races and GardenFair. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Sarah Lawrence College, Bronxville, N.Y., and later worked as a publicist for various book publishers.
In making the announcement, Duff said, "Hillary Holland brings to us a wealth of knowledge and experience. We are delighted by her deep interest in the Conservancy's diverse mission."
Holland commented, "As a lifelong resident of the Brandywine Valley, I feel very fortunate to have this opportunity. The Conservancy plays a vital role in preserving the natural resources of the area, while its museum is one of the finest cultural attractions in the region."
