They held expensive teas, protected household silver, and provided organized storage for ladies' sewing supplies, among other uses. Viewed as indispensable accessories, boxes reflect the styles of their times. Borrowed from both private and public collections, the exceptional boxes in this exhibition feature a broad range of decorative elements such as paint, veneer, and carving.

Special Events: The Preview Party takes place on Friday, May 23, from 6 to 9 p.m. Tickets are $100 per person. The cost includes valet parking, cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, music, and show admission.

On Sunday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., several dealers will share their "Passion for Collecting" through special talks in the booths. These 30-minute talks are free with Antiques Show admission.
