Each week features a different story and art activity. Children may participate in one or all of these tours, designed for children ages 3 to 6 accompanied by an adult. October 11 - Noodle by Munro Leaf, illustrations by Ludwig BemelmansWorkshops are free for members and children under age 6, and are included with Museum admission ($12, adults; $8, seniors; $6, students, and children ages 6 to 12). Exhibiting American art in a 19th-century grist mill, the Brandywine River Museum is internationally known for its unparalleled collection of works by three generations of Wyeths and its fine collection of American illustration, still life and landscape painting.
Brandywine River Museum, located on U.S. Route 1 in Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania, is open daily (except Christmas Day) from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Admission is $12 for adults; $8 for seniors ages 65 and over, $6 for students and children ages 6-12; free for children under six and Brandywine Conservancy members. Museum admission is free on Sunday mornings (except May 29 during Annual Antiques Show and during A Brandywine Christmas) from 9:30 a.m. to noon.
