Outdoor Adventure: Drawing Inspiration from Nature
June 23 - 27, 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m., ages 8 - 11
Just another landscape? Not during this adventurous week! Find inspiration in the local environment to develop new and innovative works of art. Use traditional techniques like painting, photography, and printmaking while trying new approaches like assemblage and found-object sculptures to create a new art adventure every day!

Artstagram: Illustration in the 21st Century
June 23 - 27, 1 - 4 p.m., ages 12 - 15
From illuminated manuscripts to the work of N.C. Wyeth, illustrations have enriched stories for centuries. Today we illustrate our lives daily through social media sites like Facebook, Instagram, and Snapchat. During this week, take a fresh look at illustration and consider how stories are captured and communicated in today's world. Use painting, drawing, and photography in traditional and non-traditional ways to learn how elements of design, portraiture, and landscape can bring a story to life.
