BRANDYWINE RIVER MUSEUM RESTAURANT
TO CLOSE TEMPORARILY FOR RENOVATIONS

Beginning on January 6, 2003, the restaurant at the Brandywine River Museum will close for renovation as part of a museum-wide building improvement project. The renovation is scheduled to be completed in April, 2003. It will provide more efficient food preparation and storage areas for the restaurant.
The Brandywine River Museum Restaurant offers lunch and refreshments in a beautiful setting overlooking the Brandywine River. Open daily from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., the eatery features floor-to-ceiling windows and seats approximately 80 people. Museum admission is required for restaurant access.
Exhibiting American art in a restored 19th-century grist mill, the Brandywine River Museum is internationally known for its unparalleled collection of works by three generations of Wyeths and its fine collection of American illustration, still life and landscape painting. Located on U.S. Route 1 in Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania, the museum is open daily, 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., except Christmas Day. Admission is $6 for adults; $3 for seniors ages 65 and over, students with I.D., and children ages 6 to 12; and free for children under six and Brandywine Conservancy members.
