FAMILY CONCERT WITH TOM CHAPIN

WHAT: The Young Friends of the Brandywine Conservancy host popular folksinger and children's entertainer Tom Chapin for an outdoor concert at the N.C. Wyeth Studio. Chapin and fellow performer Michael Mark will entertain families with songs promoting environmental awareness and good fun. All proceeds benefit the Brandywine Conservancy.

WHEN: Sunday, June 15, grounds open at 3 p.m., concert begins at 4 p.m.

WHERE: The N.C. Wyeth Studio, located one half mile from the Brandywine River Museum, U.S. Route 1 and Creek Road in Chadds Ford, PA.

ADMISSION: Tickets must be purchased in advance by calling 610-388-8315 on weekdays between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. or by ordering online using the ticket form located on the Young Friends website. VISA and MasterCard are accepted. Tickets for Conservancy members are $10 for adults and $8 for children 12 and under. For non-members, tickets are $15 for adults and $12 for children 12 and under.

The Young Friends of the Brandywine Conservancy is a membership group and volunteer committee of young adults dedicated to furthering the goals of the Brandywine Conservancy and its two operating programs, the Environmental Management Center and Brandywine River Museum. In addition to sponsoring on-going education programs for children and families, the Young Friends host special events throughout the year designed to elevate adult and child awareness of art and the environment, recruit new members, and more actively involve current members.
