WHAT: The Brandywine River Museum presents an outstanding selection of antique European and American pipes made of clay, porcelain, wood and meerschaum in a new exhibition entitled The Art and Design of Antique Smoking Pipes. The exhibition focuses on extraordinary examples of smoking pipes that provided their owners with visual as well as smoking pleasure, and with prestige. All are lent from private collections.
