UNDERSTANDING CONSERVATION EASEMENTS:
a SEMINAR FOR REAL ESTATE PROFESSIONALS

WHAT: The Brandywine Conservancy in conjunction with the Chester County Association of Realtors and the New Castle County Board of Realtors will host a free educational seminar on conservation easements for realtors in Chester County, Pennsylvania, and New Castle County, Delaware. Expert speakers will discuss why landowners grant conservation easements and the benefits that can result from placing a property under easement. Realtors will gain a solid understanding of the issues associated with buying and selling eased land. Speakers will include:

David Shields, Associate Director of the Brandywine Conservancy's Environmental Management Center, Michael Ledyard, attorney, easement donor, and owner of eased land, and Georgianna Hannum Stapleton, Prudential Fox & Roach Country Properties, easement donor, and owner of eased land.
