Local student performers bring holiday music to the Brandywine River Museum

Enjoy the sounds of the holidays at the Brandywine River Museum. Musical groups from local schools will give free performances during the museum's holiday exhibition, A Brandywine Christmas.

WHEN:

  • Tuesday, December 5, Pequea Valley High School, 10 a.m. & 11 a.m.
  • Friday, December 8, Wilmington Friends School, 10:30 a.m.
  • Wednesday, December 13, Octorara Intermediate School, 10:15 a.m. & 11 a.m.
  • Friday, December 15, Kennett High School, 1 p.m.

WHERE:

The 2nd floor lobby of the Brandywine River Museum, located at the intersection of Routes 1 and 100 in Chadds Ford, PA.

ADMISSION:

Free with regular admission of $5 for adults and $2.50 for senior citizens and students. Free for children under six and members.

Visitors will also enjoy the museum's annual holiday exhibition, A Brandywine Christmas. This year's highlight is a special exhibition, N.C. Wyeth's Family Christmas. The holiday display also includes The Dolls on Christmas Day: Collection of Ann Wyeth McCoy; a rare and elaborate Victorian doll house; an extensive display of O-gauge model trains; and imaginative "critter" ornaments decorating holiday trees.
