BRANDYWINE RIVER CLEANUP

WHAT: The Young Friends of the Brandywine Conservancy invite volunteers to help remove debris along the Brandywine River. The cleanup will focus on a five-mile stretch of the river between Pocopson Bridge in Chester County, Pennsylvania, and the Delaware state line.

WHEN: Saturday, April 21, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. (Rain or shine)
Volunteers are advised to wear long pants, heavy shoes or boots, gloves and to bring drinking water. Lunch will be provided following the cleanup.

WHERE: Meet at the Brandywine River Museum parking lot,
US Route 1 and PA Route 100 in Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania.

HOW MUCH: Free.
